Provincial Moving helped us move last June, and after 25 years in one house, it’s amazing how much stuff there is to deal with. Rachael and the Provincial team guided us through the whole process — not just the move itself, but the organizing and preparation beforehand, which made an enormous difference.

Rachael walked through our entire house with us ahead of time, counting off everything that needed to go so she could put together an accurate assessment. She also gave us recommendations and ideas on how to pack to make the move go as smoothly as possible. Because we wanted to handle some of the packing ourselves to keep the cost down, they worked around our schedule and our abilities and let us do what we could — no pressure, no upselling.

On moving day the crew showed up happy and friendly, with a real sense of camaraderie that made a long day much easier on everyone.

We used Provincial Moving for the first time when we needed to move our second household from Victoria to our main home on Salt Spring Island, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

During the planning and quoting process, we worked with Rachael, who was efficient, responsive, and exceptionally detail-oriented. On moving day, Adam and Curtis handled our move, and they were absolutely outstanding. Over the past 20+ years, we’ve relocated nearly ten times, both across Canada and internationally, and the service Adam and Curtis provided ranks among the very best we’ve experienced.

They were professional, friendly, incredibly careful with our belongings, and went above and beyond by helping us rearrange furniture inside our home when our plans changed.

We felt genuinely well looked after throughout the entire process, and the pricing was very fair and reasonable.
